PHPTrails - Krampus Test Ride

For those of you who aren't into the biking scene but are still fans of off road trails, her is a short video of a prototype demo bike.  Meet the Krampus.  This is a new bike format from Surly Bikes, a 29" wheel with a 3" wide tire.  Momentum Bikes and Boards in Platteville was lucky enough to get a few demo models this last fall and we tested them out on the trails within the Platteville city limits.  Enjoy.

Hirsch Farm Ride, July 2012

Here's a little diddy from this summer.  We usually shoot for a Tuesday ride each week here in Platteville.  Most of the time we head out to the Hirsch Farm.  Creek crossings, big climbs, plenty of logs and swooping trails.  And you never know who else you'll run into when you're riding out there.

Rain or Moonshine Still Gonna Ride

Rain in the forecast.  Here's the deal.  We got prizes.  We got a place to party.  We have a back up plan.  Rain or shine, we will be hosting the Fatty Platty.  Things may be a little different than originally planned but we're still marking a course and planning to race.  Do Please bring a change of clothes.
